1. Purpose of the App

The App provides structured self-reflection exercises, planning tools, and optional AI-supported summaries intended to support personal orientation, learning and development as well as setting concrete goals and milestones to achieve the personal orientation.

The App does not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic, or crisis-intervention services, and does not replace professional advice. Users remain fully responsible for their own decisions and actions.

2. Eligibility

The App is intended for users aged 14 years or older.

Users under the age of 14 should use the App with appropriate parental or guardian awareness, where applicable.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• use the App only for lawful purposes
• not misuse, disrupt, or interfere with the App, its systems, or security
• not upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates the rights of others

We reserve the right to restrict access in cases of serious misuse.

4. Accounts and Data

Registration is required to use the App. The App’s primary database is hosted by DigitalOcean in Frankfurt, Germany.

Data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

5. AI-Supported Features

The App uses the OpenAI API to generate summaries of user answers through server-side processing.

AI-generated content:

• is provided for reflection and inspiration only
• may be incomplete or inaccurate
• must not be relied upon as professional, medical, psychological, or legal advice

Users should independently evaluate all insights before taking action.

6. Fees and Payments

Any fees are processed through the relevant app store provider (e.g. Apple App Store, Google Play).

Refunds and cancellations are subject to:

• the app store’s terms, and
• mandatory statutory consumer rights under applicable law.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, exercises, structures, designs, and materials provided in the App are the intellectual property of Geo Sprachen- und Beratungsservice GmbH or its licensors.

They may not be copied, distributed, or reused without prior written permission.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App in cases of material breach of these Terms or serious misuse.

You may stop using the App at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

We do not guarantee any specific outcomes from using the App.

We are liable in cases of intent or gross negligence. In cases of simple negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable damages typical for this type of service.

Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
